In 2009, heavy rainfall devastated most of the villages in Andhra Pradesh, India with extensive flooding. Helping Hands India rushed with aid and could help children and families dealing with the loss of loved ones and their homes.

Helping Hands India purchased a small piece of land and built a small shelter, which later expanded to a bigger shelter at Rajoli, a village which completely devastated by the floods and loss of lives. Through the help of Sponsors, more land was able to be purchased and a children’s home was constructed. Helping Hands India is currently serving Twenty Five children at Rajoli with facilities.
